When you build with Betterlook Homes, you can be confident that every one of our transportable homes is finished with quality materials and fittings. Our designs incorporate the following standard inclusions, which can be changed upon request by consulting our friendly team.

Foundations: Precast concrete blocks to our engineer’s design (for up to class M sites).
Bearers and Joist: Cypress pine timber (termite resistant).
Flooring: Particleboard sheeting (compressed fibre cement sheet to wet areas).
Wall frames: Radiata pine - 90 x 35 studs @ 450mm centres (termite resistant).

Engineer designed roof trusses.
Horizontal sliding coloured aluminium frame windows, including insect screens as shown on plan.
Security type full panel screen doors to front and back door.
Bradford insulation batts to ceiling (R3.5), walls (R2.0) and floor (R2.0).
External woodgrain/rusticated HardiPlank (other options available).
Internal linines, plasterboard to walls and ceilings (Villaboard to wet area walls).
House fully wired throughout with standard meter box, ready for connection of mains (connection between house sections on site not included).

Full internal hot and cold water and waste drainage completed down to bearer level ready for connection by your plumber on site (excluding tempering valve).
Electric hot water service supplied for external connection on site (gas options available).
Electric wall oven and hot plates or upright stove fitted as shown on plans. Gas cooking also available as an option.
600mm recirculating range hood fitted over stove or hot plates.
Exhaust fan fitted to ceilings of bathroom, ensuite and toilet (to ceiling space). ‘Tastic’ fitted to bathroom and ensuite.
Mains powered smoke detectors with battery backup fitted as required.

Fully laminated kitchen cupboards as shown on plan.
67 x 9 colonial skirtings and architraves finished in clear stain. Gloss painted flush panel doors (colonial panel doors standard on some homes). Four shelf linen cupboard where shown on plan. Built in wardrobes with two shelves and hanging rail where shown on plan.
House fully painted in two-coat vinyl paint to your colour selection.
45-litre acrylic suds saver tub and washing machine taps standard.
1500mm acrylic bath where shown on plan. Laminated vanity unit with cupboard and drawers where shown. Sliding or pivot door glass shower screen to separate shower recess where shown. Ceramic tiled floors and walls.
Transport of sections to site and setting up with 200km - extra distance by quotation. Steel steps fitted to external doorways. Site fall allowance to 100mm (falls greater than 100mm at extra cost). Treated pine base boards fitted to full perimeter of building (enclosed bases at extra cost).

Fitted verandahs where shown on plans. Balustrades are at extra cost if required.
All development and construction approvals applied for on your behalf. Builders long service leave levy paid in addition to above. Home Owners Warranty Insurance against building faults obtained and paid for in your name (7 year structural guarantee).*Any bonds, which may be required by your council, are at your cost and are refundable to you.
BASIX energy and water efficiency certificate obtained and presented to council. Please note that as BASIX is dependent on and varies according to your postcode, we may have to include additional works at extra cost into your home to comply. Our sales staff will be pleased to discuss this compliance with you.
