Process in Purchasing a Home

Purchasing your new home should be a stress-free and enjoyable experience. At Betterlook Homes we have the expertise, advice and skills to help you create a beautiful home in 10 simple steps.

1 Enquiry

You can see and download all of our plans right here on our website by viewing our range. If you’d like a copy of the plans posted out to you, simply fill in an enquiry form on the contact us page.

2 Quote

Once you’ve chosen your plan our salesperson can alter it to your specific requirements, producing a detailed quote including any requested extras or changes.

3 Site Assessment

At this stage, we provide a free, no obligation site assessment to make sure there are no issues with getting your transportable house on site, explaining any site works which may need to take place first.

4 Specific Reports

All houses require specific reports, but it can sometimes be hard to know which ones. Our salesperson will be able to explain which reports you are required to obtain. Most houses will require the following: a Soil Classification, Bushfire Assessment and Septic Report.

5 Finish Selection

At this stage you can further personalise your new home. Attending an in-store appointment with our salesperson, you’ll be able to go over your choices of all finishes, electrical points, lighting positions and appliances.

6 Contract

Once all documents and reports have been finalised, contracts will be put together and sent out for you to read over and sign.

7 Commencement

Once contracts have been signed and Home Owners Warranty Insurance is obtained, a 5% deposit payment will be required. This will then allow the building works to commence on your new home.

8 On Site Works

All onsite works need to be organised by yourself and completed before your house is to arrive on site, to ensure everything is prepared. Whilst Betterlook Homes Pty Ltd do not organise onsite works, we are more than happy to assist with any questions you may have.

9 Delivery

Your house is delivered to the site and placed onto the position as directed by yourself. 80% of the payment is required at this stage.

10 Completion

Your house is put together on site and completed. The remaining 15% is to be paid once this has taken place and you’re completely happy with your new home.
